Your Weekly Guide to Leveraging Technology in College Counseling

Welcome to newsletter #14!

It has been an interesting week to say the least. I made my first visit to India to attend the IC3 conference in Hyderabad and then to join the Cialfo high school tour in New Delhi and Calcutta. A highlight, for sure, was being here for the India moon landing! Here’s a quick synopsis of the week on LinkedIn.

That said, with any luck, the newsletter will eclipse 200 users before this goes out. Currently sitting at 197!

In any case, feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!

Enjoy this week’s newsletter!

Using ChatGPT to build an initial college list is an interesting gambit. Consider the following prompt:

Please produce a college list of universities in the Pacific Northwest for a student with a 3.0 GPA.

However, if you’d like to delve deeper into this topic, consider this blog post! If you have any great prompts or questions about prompting, send me a note at [email protected]. And you can always see past prompts here!

It’s been a great week. Please, as always, share this newsletter with others who might benefit from it, and, please, share with me any feedback, ideas, etc.

And thanks to Tannaz who shared the Instagram post below!

Happy counseling,

Jeff
