Your Weekly Guide to Leveraging Technology in College Counseling
Welcome to Tech-Neill-ogy #32!
Good morning, friends!
As I write this, we are up to 386 recipients signed up for this newsletter! I thank all of you who have shared this resource with your networks as they keep trickling in! The news is honestly harder and harder to keep up with. As I shared a few months ago, I am inundated with new apps and tools, with more and more coming out seemingly every day. However, the newest development really has been the amount others are writing about it. Lots of interesting stuff, even more than I can include. That said, if you encounter something particularly interesting, please do share! Feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!
OK. This is a fun one. In this new year, I’ve got a goal of being more mindful and intentional about my social media use and presence. Yeah, there’s a lot going on in that sentence! That said, I’ve been exploring ways in which ChatGPT can assist me with this. This is just one example.

To explore this one, I executed this prompt with an interesting topic and posted it (with a disclaimer) on my Twitter account. See below to see the output!
As always, if you’d like to explore some of the other hacks, tips, and prompts I’ve shared here and elsewhere, check out this link. If you have any great prompts or questions about prompting, send me a note at [email protected].
Should the US University Application Process Eliminate Teacher Letters of Recommendation? A thread... see final post for disclaimer!!! #collegecounseling#collegeadmissions
