Your Weekly Guide to Leveraging Technology in College Counseling
Welcome to Tech-Neill-ogy #41!
It’s been a busy one (surprise, surprise)! You can read more here, but otherwise, I’m going to cut to the quick!
Always feel free to drop me an email at [email protected]. Special thanks to those of you who always seem to reach out! I look forward to hearing from you!
Changing things here in the Final Exam section a little bit. I hope to alternate between sharing prompts you can try, as I have been doing, and some videos demonstrating the tools. Try this one on!
This is an illustration I used for a presentation this past weekend at the IC3 Conference we hosted on how a college counselor might use ChatGPT to assist in analyzing acceptance data (and/or write end-of-year reports). I used ChatGPT to create the amazingly absurd application data entered, but the outputs are accurate! (Also, there is no sound!)
Some previous prompts are shared at this link and on my YouTube channel. However, if you have any great prompts or questions about prompting, send me a note at [email protected].
In closing, I’m happy to share that Graded, where I work, has partnered with UnconstrainED to deliver up-skilling opportunities for our faculty and staff in regards to Artificial Intelligence. Here’s a PDF of the slidedeck in which this news was shared with us. Scroll down past the ThinkTank to about slide 7 for more details about what is to come!
And happy counseling,
Jeff
