Your Weekly Guide to Leveraging Technology in College Counseling
Welcome to Tech-Neill-ogy #44!
It felt nice to have a calmer week. Read more about it here on LinkedIn. I hope all of your students are feeling good about their choices.
I wanted to make a pitch for the second part of my two-part webinar series for UCLAxOpen, which is free, on AI in College Admissions on May 7 at 5:00 PM PT. Click the link to register. I’m excited about this one as I’ll be joined by a current student of mine and a pair of colleagues, all of whom have education-related AI products to share.
For now, please enjoy this week’s newsletter!
Here is the recording of my UCLAxOpen webinar, which was part one of the two-part series, from last week. I share some newer ideas for how college counselors can use AI in their work. Enjoy!
Some previous prompts are shared at this link and on my YouTube channel. However, if you have any great prompts or questions about prompting, send me a note at [email protected].
While this week may have been a tad bit calmer, we have officially entered the time of year we refer to as the “downhill sprint” to graduation: we will all make it to the bottom of the hill one way or the other. We just hope to keep our feet beneath us! Though we are under 60 days to the end of the school year, I still have two international trips remaining (BMI-THE in London and NAFSA in New Orleans). Here’s hoping I can keep my footing beneath me!
And happy counseling,
Jeff
