Your Weekly Guide to Leveraging Technology in College Counseling
Welcome to Tech-Neill-ogy #93!
The downhill sprint continues… We will have a rare uninterrupted, full week of school this coming week, before I head to London for the BMI-THE Global Forum. I’m looking forward to seeing so many folks from around the world, and, this will mark the second anniversary of this newsletter. It was initially started at the Globo two years ago while walking around UCL and King’s College.
In any case, a little out of order, I feel compelled to share this tool: https://www.napkin.ai/. Napkin is an amazing AI graphic maker. For those of us who present a lot and make a lot of slide decks, this is an absolute game-changer. Give it a try!
I hope you all are doing well and surviving the chaos that is this time of year. As always, if you encounter any tips, ideas, or questions, please send them my way!
Enjoy the newsletter!

I’ve tried a lot of AI meeting tools, but this relatively simple prompt accomplishes a lot. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts!
Help me prepare for an upcoming meeting on [topic] with [attendees]. The goal of this meeting is to [objective, e.g., make a decision, brainstorm ideas, align on strategy]. Provide a structured agenda, key talking points, and potential questions to ask. Also, suggest strategies to keep the discussion engaging, handle difficult conversations if they arise, and ensure clear action items are assigned by the end. Bonus: Recommend an icebreaker or an engaging way to start the meeting to set a positive tone.
In any case, if you have any great prompts or ideas, please share! Send me a note at [email protected].

That’s it for this week, but please, first, take a look at this McKinsey article on essential skills for the future of work:
Enjoy your week! Happy counseling!
